60s Vibe Jazz Bass
Okay, so it arrived. I'm impressed. This bass is totally good enough to gig with; in many ways, this thing is better than the 80s Mexican J-Bass I played for most of the time with Diatribe. Under $300, too!

Gosh, thanks eljay! I looked at the clip again, and I'll cop to the fact that it doesn't seem "rusty" in that clip. So, none of that "aw shucks" fishing here... But my chops have fallen off quite a bit (if you were here as I attempt to play the thing, you'd see what I'm talking about).
I'll probably never play electric bass every day again; but it's cool to have a replica of my old thing--the Fender Jazz is probably one of my favorite shapes in the world. The phrase "offset body" just doesn't do that shape justice.
